About this project
We designed and developed a WordPress website for Brickwoods Schools in Nanyuki, a mixed day and boarding school offering the Competency-Based Education (CBE) system from Playgroup to Grade 9. The site presents the school clearly to parents and prospective pupils, with a welcome message from the director, a "Why Brickwoods?" section, and pages for History, Facilities, New Developments, Curriculum, Our Team, and Student Life (extra-curricular activities, trips and excursions, and spiritual activities). An online application form and a "How to Apply" guide make admissions simple, and parents can quickly find term dates, school uniform details, and the downloadable fees structure. A live events calendar keeps the school community updated on key dates such as assessments, closing day, and retreats. The site also has a photo and video gallery covering learning, sports, talent, swimming, and trips, student and alumni testimonials, an FAQ section, an embedded map, and one-tap contact numbers for the school and boarding lines. A login area and a notifications page keep parents informed. The result is a welcoming, easy-to-navigate website that supports the school's admissions and communication with parents.
